Conwy Suspension Bridge
Conwy Suspension Bridge is a delicate masterpiece by Thomas Telford, completed in 1826 to span the Conwy Estuary in the shadow of Conwy Castle. Telford designed its towers to echo the turrets of the medieval castle alongside, creating an unusually harmonious dialogue between engineering and history. Walking across it offers superb views of the estuary and remains one of the most elegant bridge crossings in Wales.
