Clytha Park
Clytha Park centres on a Greek Revival house built in the 1820s by Edward Haycock, reckoned the finest of its kind in Monmouthshire. The grounds, shaped in the late 18th century, run from a serpentine lake to wooded slopes, with the eccentric Gothic Clytha Castle folly raised by William Jones in memory of his wife. The house is tenanted and largely private, but the parkland landscape and folly make it a rewarding place to explore.
